"We ate here two days in a row. It's so tasty, and we tried so many side dishes. Mac, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, cabbage, and hush puppies. Everything was flavorful, my only gripe is that it was a little salty. But I just got a cup of water. To put things into perspective, the salt won't keep us away. There were very generous portions at an unbelievable price. It's so quiet in the resturant. You can eat in peace."

"Enjoyed my meals here. It's like a Cafeteria style set up. Was seasoned good. The Neck Bones were a little salty for my taste. The place is cleaned and staff are friendly. Overall it is a good Soul Food place..."

"First time visitor, found them on google. Went on a Thursday afternoon around 2pm. They were out of the Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes which would have been my go to sides, so I got yams and squash with meatloaf. Everything was delicious! 10/10. I wish they were in Memphis. They would definitely have more business out there because they can cook. The best yams and meatloaf Ive ever had from a restaurant. The meal was very filling as well. Anytime I pass this area this will be my go to spot."

"Got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and cabbage to go. Some of best meatloaf I've had in a very long time. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's a long way from my home, but I will be back!"

"My boyfriend and I stopped here on the way back to Memphis. My boyfriend got the baked chicken, Mac n cheese, corn bread, and mashed potatoes. I got the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, yams, and corn bread. The baked chicken was the best chicken I have ever had. The fried chicken was not good, I think they may have over cooked it. Sides: Mashed potatoes: average Mac n cheese: pretty good. Yams: pretty good. Cornbread: dry. Overall I would come back just for the baked chicken."

"I was surprised by the limited choices on the day I went, but what I did get was mostly good. I had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy (both good) and Mac n cheese (not good, tasted like window cleaner?). I stopped in here because someone told me this was just as good as the now closed Juniors that used to be in Hernando..... but I disagree on that. Also, they should have picked a different color to paint the extra tall, plain walls besides "prison gray".... I thought I saw a guy sharpening his toothbrush into a shank on the concrete floor when I was leaving."
